General Rules in and Around Marina

(As amended at AGM April 26th 2025)

The Granisle Power Boat Club Society and its Executive will not be responsible for any personal injury, boats or equipment at the Granisle Marina Docks and area within the breakwater containment area. All members must receive and acknowledge the Granisle Power Boat Club Society’s Waiver on an annual basis when paying moorage fees. Guests are the responsibility of the Member bringing them to the Granisle Marina and all Club Rules apply to guest as well as members.

  1. Priority will be given to current Granisle Power Boat Club Members and then to Granisle residents for marina facilities.
  2. Entrance and exit speed strictly restricted to DEAD SLOW (no wake).
  3. Children under the age of 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. All boats must be secured properly to avoid damage to said boats or surrounding boats. Bumpers and fenders must be deployed between boats as required.
  5. Modifications to docks are to be made only with Boat Club Executive approval.
  6. Fenders, cleats and bumpers must be of a type commercially manufactured for that purpose. All Cleats must be installed by Boat Club.
  7. Members and users are responsible for notifying the Dock master or Marina attendant of docks or marina ramp in need of repairs.
  8. Absolutely no cooking or barbecuing on the docks.
  9. The marina docks are for the recreational use of club members, short term registrants and their guests.
  10. Boating equipment/supplies may not be left on the docks unattended. Keep areas clear of tripping hazards.
  11. Boats using Club facilities may not be rented out.
  12. Members loaning their boats to non members assume responsibility for non-member’s actions.
  13. NO CLEANING OF FISH OR DISPOSAL OF FISH REMAINS ON THE DOCKS OR WITHIN THE CONFINED BREAKWATER AREA

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MARINA USAGE.
